Been a while and alot has happened from baby showers, 5k races, tornadoes and a bunch of other stuff I can't even remember. Luckily, my family all survived the tornados with hardly any damage. My heart goes out to those who lost loved ones or their houses. That was just an amazing day watching all those tornadoes roll through. I barely remember the ones in 1974 that did so much damage just down the road from us in Tanner, but nothing like this onslaught of storms we had a few weeks ago. Whew!
I'm also posting some pictures from my neice, Anna's baby shower. She is due in 3 weeks and at this shower a few weeks ago, she was positively glowing. I know she will make a great mom.
Speaking of mom's... Happy Mother's day to all of you out there!!! I don't know where I would be without my mom's continued love and support.
I have also finished two more saints in my girl saint series. I had started Ursula several months back, but had switched my brain to jewelry mode, so I had not done much on her. And this last week, I started and finished Joan of Arc. She is such an intersting person, I really enjoyed painting her.
Unfortunately Panoply was cancelled this year due to the bad tornadoes. They have decided they will not reschedule it, so my next event will be June 10, 6-8am at Lowe Mill for my private Artist exhibition; then my Fall shows in Athens and Monte Sano. Hope to see you at one of these events.
You really have been through a lot. It's terrifying to see the power of these storms. Love your saints!

This was such a touching post, and your journal page is beautiful. Just think if you had lived like that, it would really make you appreciate what you had more. Although I sometimes think we all have too much and need to simplify our lives some.
