Well, it's official! My new website is up and running, with a full gallery of my art and even a shop to buy from.  I'll be saying a fond farewell to this blog and will be posting on that one from now on.  The new site is  www.lesliewoodarts.com.

Changes to Blog and a new website are coming

Updating my blog lately has become almost impossible. Either my internet or Typepad (my guess is Typepad) is just not cooperating. So I'm going to be going to a new blog and I'm also getting a new website where I'll have a shop for my jewelry and paintings. Lots of exciting changes coming for my art on the internet. Check back in a few weeks for more information!!!

Art Journaling Video

 

I'm finally posting this video I made a few weeks back of a page in my Bug Eye Journal. That journal was so effortless for me, unlike so many others.  I had fun with each page. I'm planning on making a video of a flip through of it to share next.  Meanwhile, enjoy, though be warned, it's kinda long. 

Welcome Back...

I have been neglecting my blog in a major way.  It hasn't been intentional, I just got busy I guess.  Also went through a art slump where I wasn't making much art.  But it's a new day and a new blog post.  Since my last post I have been playing in watercolors, doing online classes, starting new blogs, finished my google eyed journal (which I'll post in a video), oh and yeah, doing some video recording of some art.  Just playing really and trying to figure it out.   But today's post is going to be about Miss Lucy, my newest Saint.  You can read about her here on wikipedia.  If she feels a bit solemn it's because I was having trouble getting out of an artistic block, so she got me out. 

It's a new year and a new blog post. I promise I'll be posting more frequently and will share a few videos.
